With a robust team of Off-Highway Heavy Diesel Mechanics, we need strong leadership. This is the ideal opportunity to take the leap and get off the tools. You'll lead and develop our technicians as they work across all aspects of off-highway machinery. From marine, to rail, power generation and industrial, our techs can get the job done!
About you:
Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic/Diesel Fitter with experience in heavy vehicle, plant, marine or power generation equipment.
Demonstrable leadership skills, ideally having come from a leading hand role, but with the right attitude, we'll train you up and give you the tools to succeed.
Strong experience in maintenance, service and repair of heavy duty diesel engines, so our techs can come to you with any tricky questions.
Knowledge and experience in mtu, Deutz, Mercedes Benz, Detroit Diesel, Cummins and Allison Transmission products would be fantastic - its what we work on, among other things!
Practical working knowledge on the operation of appropriate machinery, tools and equipment.
Easily work independently and take the lead to drive and upskill the team.
A commitment to, and promotion of safe work practices and the ability to mentor others.
Have effective communication and teamwork skills, and actively promote Penske's values and purpose.
