Senior Associate/Director Job

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing practical advice to clients as they deal with their most complex taxation issues.
* Working closely with clients and barristers to develop detailed tax technical submissions, assist with and lead court processes and cross-border disputes with other regulators in various jurisdictions.
* Preparing detailed technical submissions relating to complex tax technical areas of the law with a focus on integrity provisions.
* Understanding the tax administration provisions as they relate to assessments, objections, rulings and penalties and interest.
As a Senior Associate within our Deloitte Legal team, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of top-tier clients ranging from multinational corporations through to high net-worth individuals. You will be exposed to a range of tasks including:
* Conducting research to support advice on a range of matters.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 6 to 10 years' experience in tax (preferably with tax litigation / dispute resolution experience, although not a must).
* A self-starter attitude with an ability to drive results and take initiative to identify areas of opportunity.
* Exceptional attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, differing complexity engagements.
* Strong interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with our clients and cultivate new ones.
