Job Description:
* Provide information and assistance to staff, by all forms of correspondence.
* Undertake administrative duties as required including but not limited to, scanning, emailing, photocopying, typing, document production, data entry, record keeping and filing.
* Accurately maintain personnel records.
* Provide accurate payroll reports.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of the fortnightly pay run, including checking timesheets, within the required deadlines.
* Prepare, process, and report on workers compensation claims, including reviewing and reconciling of reimbursement schedules.
* Process employee terminations, including providing employees with certificates of service when required.
* Positively contribute to teamwork and embrace a co-operative approach to achieving outcomes.
* Provide support across all teams as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Qualifications in payroll or 2 years payroll experience in a similar role.
* High proficiency in payroll data entry, including experience working in a high transaction volume environment.
* Demonstrated competence with payroll systems and processes.
* Demonstrated knowledge and application of confidentiality principles.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Demonstrated time management skills and an ability to prioritise tasks.
* Experience with multiple awards and enterprise agreements.
* Experience in using Preceda payroll software, or an equivalent system.
* Experience in using Emplive or an equivalent time & attendance system.
* Demonstrated knowledge of relevant sectors.
