Your new role
As the Manager of HR Business Partnering, you will lead a team of six HR professionals and drive a proactive, consultative approach to people and culture. Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring the HRBP team to uplift capability and performance.
* Modernising and standardising HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
* Building strong stakeholder relationships through visible partnering across sites.
* Managing complex IR/ER matters, including union engagement and early intervention strategies.
* Supporting organisational design, workforce planning, and cultural initiatives.
* Contributing to enterprise agreement negotiations and broader HR projects such as OD and HRIS implementation.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in HR leadership, ideally within local government or a complex, multi-site organisation.
* Strong technical expertise in IR/ER, including EBA management and union engagement.
* Demonstrated ability to coach and develop a team.
* Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to shift from reactive casework to proactive partnering.
