* AHP1 | Full Time | Ongoing
* Base Salary Range: $71,217 - $86,938 p.a

In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).

Site and Service

Whyalla Hospital and Health Services is a large regional hospital comprising of 75 beds including flex beds and a designated High Dependency Unit. The hospital provides a wide range of services, including emergency, medical and surgical, maternity, rehabilitation, mental health, and outpatients. Whyalla Hospital's Cancer Resource Centre is one of the largest in regional South Australia. It includes six chemotherapy chairs, outpatient care and counselling services, reducing the need to travel outside of the region for care. It is also one of three stroke services in regional SA, providing specialised treatment for suitable stroke patients 24/7, supported by metropolitan stroke units. Our staff work in close partnership with community health services and Aboriginal health providers, to ensure that optimum care is delivered to all areas of the community. About the Role

Under the direct supervision of a Senior Clinical Orthotist/Prosthetist, the Orthotist/Prosthetist will play a key role in delivering a comprehensive and integrated range of health services designed to meet the unique needs of the local community. Collaborating closely with a diverse multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from various sectors, you will apply a blend of preventative care, early intervention, treatment, and evaluation strategies to make a real difference in patients' lives.

About You

* Must hold a recognised qualification within the Orthotist/Prosthetist profession, and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Orthotics/Prosthetist Professional Association.
* For those disciplines requiring Registration, all requirements to maintain current registration must be fulfilled. For self-regulated professions it is desirable to participate in the professional associations accredited continuous professional development program
* Provide a broad range of clinical services, selecting and applying well-established methods, procedures, and standards.
* Exercise professional judgment within prescribed areas, with support from a Clinical Senior to verify methods and results.
* Deliver straightforward clinical services, including one-on-one, group, and health promotion activities.
* Manage and prioritise personal workload effectively.
