We're looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can take a brief and run with it — someone organised, proactive, and confident coordinating marketing activity across multiple moving parts.
At Major Training Group, one of Queensland's leading Registered Training Organisations, you'll report to the Marketing Manager and work closely with our Social Media Coordinator/Videographer, and external SEO + paid media partners.
This is a hands‑on role where your work directly supports lead generation, engagement and growth.
What you'll be responsible for
* Coordinating marketing tasks, timelines and delivery across internal teams, agencies and suppliers
* Creating and updating marketing collateral (flyers, brochures, course promos)
* Managing website updates (WordPress or similar CMS), ensuring accuracy, compliance and performance
* Writing SEO content, Good News/Student Success Stories, EDM copy and campaign messaging (with support from our external SEO agency)
* Confidently using AI tools to generate strong drafts and elevate quality, speed and consistency
* Creating EDMs for newsletters, promotions and internal updates
* Supporting HubSpot touchpoints and marketing workflows
* Working with our Social Media Coordinator/Videographer to plan and repurpose short‑form video content
* Owning coordination of our podcast — including booking guests and keeping episodes moving
* Tracking key activity and reporting outcomes back to the Marketing Manager
Performance expectations
* Deliver consistent, high‑quality marketing outputs across multiple channels
* Bring forward ideas and improvements (and help make them happen)
* Keep work organised, on brand and on time
* Support lead quality and conversion through better content and customer touchpoints
* Communicate clearly and provide reliable updates to the Marketing Manager
What we're looking for
* 2–5 years' experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent writing/editing skills with confidence producing polished, publish‑ready content
* Comfortable using AI tools to support content creation and ideation
* Experience updating websites (WordPress or similar CMS)
* Confident working with internal stakeholders, agencies and suppliers
* Familiarity with HubSpot, Meta Business Manager or Google tools (highly regarded)
* Podcast, PR, social media or digital experience (bonus)
