ETS holds contracts for vegetation clearance across roadside areas, rail corridors, electricity networks, and various councils and shires spanning Albany, Esperance, Perth, and the Northern and Southern River Regions including Wangara and Mandurah. Occasionally the role may also provide support to other ETS WA depots, subject to work volumes.
We are currently seeking to expand our team by recruiting new crew members to fill the following positions:
Ground Crews (competent in felling trees from the ground)
EWP Operators (EWP High Risk Work Licence required)
Tree Climbers
Away work is available with these roles – in this instance a generous Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) will be provided.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the tree industry (or labouring for experienced tradesmen)
Strong commitment to safety with a determined work approach
Physically fit to work in various outdoor conditions, highly motivated, with a positive attitude
Ability to pass pre-employment physical, drug, and alcohol tests
Confident around machinery and willing to take on all roles in a tree crew, including chipper operation, ground clearing, foliar spraying, and cutting from an EWP
Skills & Qualifications:
White Card (General Construction Safety) – Essential
HR or MR Truck Licence – Essential
Chainsaw Operation Experience – Highly desirable
Tree Climbing Experience – Highly desirable
EWP Licence – Preferred, not essential
Cert III in Arboriculture – Preferred, not essential
Previous industry experience is desired for these roles.
