OverviewHealth and Security Assistant - Mental Health Inpatient Unit - Goulburn.
Casual employment with Southern NSW Local Health District.What you'll be doingForm part of a multi-disciplinary care team, supporting the delivery of safe, patient-centred care to a diverse population.Provide general assistance in wards and portering patients within the facility/campus.
Undertake cleaning duties and security duties as required under the direction of clinical staff.ResponsibilitiesMaintain safety and order across facilities in line with clinical guidance.Support patients, staff and visitors in a secure, welcoming setting.Selection Criteria / QualificationsCurrent NSW Security licence (Class 1A minimum) or the ability to obtain it within the first 3 months of employment; maintain the security licence and Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain within the first 3 months).
