Our client is seeking a Private Capital Fund Administrator to join their Private Capital team in a client-focused function supporting both business operations and client activities across the organisation. Reporting to the PC Assistant Manager, the team works closely with internal partners, including Risk, Compliance, and Relationship Management teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
The Private Fund Administrator plays a key role in executing capital calls, distributions, valuations, and regulatory reporting while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and compliance. Beyond daily operations, this role contributes to process improvement, business change initiatives, and regulatory projects, applying expert knowledge to optimise efficiency and elevate client service.
Success in this position requires strong analytical capability, client-centric thinking, and the confidence to provide technical leadership and mentorship within the team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all capital call, distribution, valuation, and secondary transaction processes with accuracy and control.
* Review capital call instructions, client reporting, and asset setups, liaising with Legal, Fund Managers, and clients.
* Conduct AML / KYC / FATCA reviews and support regulatory and statutory reporting across the client base.
* Lead client onboarding, restructures, and product development, ensuring a consistent and efficient operating model.
* Drive process improvement and re-engineering initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality.
* Serve as first point of contact for clients, providing technical guidance and escalation support.
* Participate in senior client meetings and contribute technical input for RFPs, tenders, and due diligence.
* Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure operational integrity and governance standards.
* Support year-end reporting and monitor SLA / KPI compliance, ensuring accuracy and adherence to governance frameworks.
* Act as a subject matter expert in Private Capital, influencing continuous improvement and client service excellence.

Qualifications & Experience
* 2–5+ years of experience in financial services, ideally with exposure to Private Capital or Fund Administration.
* Degree qualified in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
* Solid understanding of fund accounting, unit pricing, taxation, valuation of private capital assets, and financial reporting.
* Experience in change management, process improvement, and operational optimisation.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic solutions to meet client and business needs.
* Understanding of Investment Administration and its broader impact within financial operations.
* Proven experience managing clients and auditors at year-end.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management, able to engage professionally at all levels.
