Electrical Instrumentation Specialist Opportunity
Fraser Coast Regional Council is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Instrumentation Specialist to join our team. As an integral member of our Electrical Maintenance department, you will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation maintenance services to water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake technical assessments on electrical and instrumentation assets to ensure safety and reliability
* Assist the Principal Electrician with administration tasks related to the electrical section
* Perform routine maintenance and inspection work to maintain asset integrity
* Exercise high-level diagnostics on complex control systems and equipment
* Provide technical guidance to colleagues
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Electrical Trade or higher qualification
* Proficient computer literacy and solid understanding of telemetry systems
* Confined Space Certification (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
* Current Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, and Tetanus immunizations (or ability to obtain prior to commencement)
* Current White Card
* Awareness of Safety
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams
* Current "C" drivers' license
