About the Role
As the Orange Sky Site Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Orange Sky laundry service, ensuring safe, reliable, and consistent service delivery across Halls Creek and surrounding communities. You will supervise staff and volunteers, maintain operational readiness of vehicles and equipment, and build strong local relationships to support service access and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Site Operations & Service Delivery: Oversee the planning and delivery of scheduled Orange Sky services, ensuring reliability, safety, and continuity. Monitor service quality and address operational risks or disruptions.
* Staff & Volunteer Supervision: Supervise and support site-based staff and volunteers, coordinate rostering, and provide day-to-day operational guidance to ensure high standards of service delivery.
* Asset & Vehicle Management: Ensure the Orange Sky vehicle, equipment, and supplies are maintained, compliant, and operational. Coordinate servicing, repairs, and stock management.
* Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with community members, local organisations, and stakeholders. Promote service awareness and support engagement initiatives.
* Compliance & Reporting: Monitor site performance, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reporting on operations, risks, and outcomes.
* Work Health & Safety: Ensure all activities comply with WHS requirements, maintaining a safe environment for staff, volunteers, and community members.
* Cultural Capability: Demonstrate culturally responsive practices and work respectfully with Aboriginal clients, staff, and communities.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Demonstrated team leadership or supervisory experience (Essential)
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills (Essential)
* Ability to work independently within a structured reporting environment (Essential)
* Strong administrative and computer skills, including reporting and record management (Essential)
* Technical aptitude to oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance processes
What You'll Need:
* Current C Class driver's licence (essential)
* Ability to travel, including short stays away from home
* National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
