We are seeking a highly skilled administration and bookkeeping professional to manage day-to-day office operations and financial record-keeping. Ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys working across both business administration and accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Manage office operations including correspondence and filing
* Maintain ASIC company registers, lodge required forms, and ensure compliance with statutory obligations
* Respond to emails, phone calls, and client queries in a professional manner
* Manage debtor accounts, including proactive debt collection and follow-up of overdue invoices
* Prepare reports and documents as requested
* Assist with ad-hoc administrative projects as required
* Prepare and lodge BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation
* Assist with payroll processing, employee records, and compliance obligations
* Assist with ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Experience in administration and bookkeeping
* Experience with Xero or similar accounting software preferred
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
* Ability to communicate professionally with clients
