**Responsibilities**
- Close partnership with warehouse coordinators to manage physical component materials movement, as well as the incoming materials shipment plan
- Manage and optimise inventory levels - partnering production to ensure data integrity
- Oversee raw material planning, ordering and receipting to meet production requirements
- Support quality control of out of specification component materials as well as quarantine processes
- Arrange purchasing of non-stock items, miscellaneous packaging materials
- Ensure material requirements shift with plan on short, medium and longer-term horizons
- Develop and maintain item master data for all key materials
- Manage obsolete raw materials (eg: aged, discontinued design/SKU, out of spec, etc)
- Troubleshoot pending stock shortages and establish processes to prevent a repeat incident
- Optimise stock holdings to best use warehousing space without impacting production
- Review optimal production assemblies to gain operational improvements and improve complex product builds
- Master Data management for materials
- Ensure regular reconciliation of component materials - manage variances and BOM adjustments
**Essential Requirements**
- Systems savvy with an analytical approach to problem solving
- Agility to adapt to dynamic change in production requirements
- Strong numeracy skills and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent planning, organisational skills and prioritising abilities
**Preferred**
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience with FMCG manufacturing sites of comparable size and complexity
- Unleashed software experience
