Overview We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controllership team at Marsh McLennan.
This role can be based in Sydney.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Tax Reporting Manager The Senior Tax Reporting Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely production of tax related financial information and returns for the business units of the Pacific region, external tax agents and tax authorities and ensuring filing requirements are met.
This includes but not limited to financial statement tax calculations and disclosures, direct and indirect taxes, revenue authority reviews/audits, key projects and merger & acquisition transactions.
What you will do Management of local income tax and indirect tax returns in accordance with local tax regulations (including, but not limited to income tax, GST/VAT, FBT, levies/ duties, and withholding taxes, for Australia, Current Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea).
Management and preparation of tax calculations, schedules and packages as required by US GAAP.
Management and preparation of the year end consolidated and company statutory accounts and related note disclosures in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Management and preparation of tax related disclosures for the year end consolidated statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
Management and production of monthly, quarterly and annual management financial information in accordance with accounting standards, MMC accounting policies and timetable.
