Join Harristown State High School as Head of Department – Support Services, Engagement and First Nations. The position leads whole‐school priorities focusing on student wellbeing, staff development and evidence‐based practice.
Responsibilities
* Lead the department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision that delivers quality learning outcomes for all students.
* Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
* Set high standards for student and staff performance.
* Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
* Coaching and developing staff, analysing student data to guide improvement strategies.
* Coordinate resources and budgets, support differentiated and evidence‐based teaching approaches.
* Contribute to whole‐school improvement priorities through clear communication and collaborative leadership.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, instructional leadership, data‐informed decision making and organisational abilities.
