Job Summary
As a Cook you will be a keen and reliable employee with great communication skills and a friendly disposition. You will be responsible for cooking fresh and nutritious meals and enhancing residents' dining experience by ensuring and maintaining a personalised and customer-focused approach whilst adhering to food safety practices and regulations.
* Permanent - Part Time, 23 hours per week position – enjoy the stability.
* Located in Borella House, Albury NSW
* Shifts are 08:30-16:30 Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Your Contribution
* Preparation of meals for Aged Care Residents that meets within the residential aged care setting;
* Ensuring all dietary concerns are accommodated;
* Preparation of texture modified diets, supplements and an awareness of allergens/ intolerances;
* Providing dining room services;
* Maintaining kitchen hygiene;
* Ensuring that services are provided are in accordance with the Fresh Hope Communities Food Safety Program;
* Updating resident dietary information/records;
* Efficient stock control.
The Essentials
* Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery / Hospitality or equivalent;
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of Food Safety Standards;
* Completion of a HACCP course is desirable;
* A good insight into the health, social or aged care services industries is desirable;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with customer service skills;
* Experience in the Aged Care Industry is desirable;
* Basic understanding of MS Office Suite;
A current Criminal History Check (within the last three years) suitable for aged care or willing to obtain;
