Matt Laurie Racing requires experienced stable hands (full time or casual) for immediate start in our medium sized, busy stable. This is not a role for beginners and you need to hit the ground running - you must know how to clean boxes and handle horses upon commencement. We have a busy spring approaching with some top line horses in our care.
Located on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, we are ten minutes from Mornington Racecourse and operate from an outstanding, thirty-five acre, state of the art, manicured property in Moorooduc. Full time roles consist of six mornings per week, some afternoons and one Sunday per month on a rotating roster.
Above award salary and overtime & penalty rates paid for full time staff, plus paid race day strapping and paid race day driving if applicable. Casual (under 30 hours per week) rate also above award & double time for Sundays.
Internationals - does not qualify for the 88 days visa work requirements. You will need your own accommodation and transport and you MUST have experience with horses.
