Desired Skills and Experience
Reporting to the Team Lead, the successful All Rounder Operator will be required to:
- Operate various mining fleet which consists of predominantly Cat B and EX Excavators, Cat Graders 16M and 18M, Cat Dozers D10T & D10T2 & D11 & 854K wheel dozer, Cat Dump Trucks 777F/G & 789 and Cat Water Carts 777F
- Dozer task – consist of Floor clean ups to dig RL, Drill pattern preparation, Waste dump pushing and keeping RL correct and Clearing topsoil areas
- Grader task – maintaining haul roads (able to keep camber and Crown on roads), Pit haul roads and running track maintenance and Drill pattern preparation
- Excavator task Backup operator as required, in a production environment
- Dump Truck task Hot seating is performed on site or fill in when short staffed
Requirements to be successful in this role are:
- Minimum C class drivers license
- Current National Police Clearance (No older than 6 months)
- Significant experience operating the above machinery in an open pit production mining environment.
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills, communication skills and high attention to detail.
Applicants must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical, provide a clean NPC (dated within the last 6 months or able to obtain) and provide valid references.
