We are seeking a professional to join our team as a Strategic Category Manager. This role will be responsible for driving value-focused procurement strategies across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Champion a national, organization-wide view of procurement
* Analyze spend data and evaluate supplier arrangements
* Lead sourcing activities and provider selection
* Influence procurement planning and decision-making
* Build trusted relationships across internal stakeholders
* Support supplier relationship management
* Identify and deliver quick commercial wins
* Challenge and improve processes within a transforming function
Requirements:
* Strong category management experience, ideally spanning areas such as Corporate Services, Labour Hire, Professional & Consultancy Services (including Legal), PPE/Uniforms, or Non-Operational Materials
* Strategic and commercially strong mindset
* Demonstrated experience and skill in building strong, trusted, and influential relationships across business units resulting in positive outcomes
* Comfortable working across national business groups
* Experience in fleet categories is desirable but not essential
* Able to thrive in an environment undergoing significant change
* Creative thinker who can operate outside traditional procurement processes
