Geraldton PCYC is a dynamic community hub that provides young people with safe, fun and engaging programs that build confidence, skills and strong community connections. A key initiative is safeSPACE – a welcoming drop‐in program that supports young people through positive activities, mentoring, and guidance from trusted youth officers as positive role models.
About the Role
As a Youth Program Coordinator, you'll lead the development, delivery and evaluation of the safeSPACE program, build partnerships, and drive youth engagement across the program. This is a full‐time leadership role focused on inspiring, supporting and guiding young people through engaging programs, positive role modelling and strong community connections.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development, delivery and evaluation of safeSPACE
* Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
* Coordinate and mentor a team of youth workers
* Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and young people
Qualifications
* Passion for working with young people
* Experience in a similar role highly desirable
* Qualification in Youth Work, Community Services, Psychology or related fields
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to build positive relationships
