Job Title: Supply Chain Sustainability Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to lead our supply chain sustainability initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving research and collaboration with key stakeholders to inform and mitigate risks related to modern slavery and human rights abuses.
* The ideal candidate will have substantial experience and strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act and equivalent frameworks.
* They will possess tertiary qualifications, preferably in business or a related field, along with demonstrated experience in sustainability, human rights, and/or responsible sourcing.
This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and excellent stakeholder engagement abilities. The candidate will work closely with suppliers to promote responsible sourcing practices and improve their capacity to address modern slavery and human rights issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with the highest standards of responsible sourcing, keeping us ahead of legal requirements and industry expectations.
2. Drive research and strategic collaboration with key stakeholders to inform and mitigate risks related to modern slavery and human rights abuses.
3. Lead partnerships with suppliers to promote responsible sourcing practices and improve their capacity to address modern slavery and human rights issues.
4. Work closely with suppliers to set clear expectations on modern slavery and rights violations, provide training, and host annual forums to encourage responsible sourcing practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong knowledge of the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act and equivalent frameworks.
* Tertiary qualifications, preferably in business or a related field.
* Demonstrated experience in sustainability, human rights, and/or responsible sourcing.
