We are looking for someone who is technologically savvy, innovative, has analytical skills, strong attention to detail and exceptional communication skills to be part of our dynamic rostering team at Coastlink. As the Roster Officer you will be:
Reallocating shifts, managing planned and unplanned leave and exceptions
Communicating updates and informing staff of shift allocations & replacements
Coordinating, managing and resolving enquiries in a high-pressure environment, including escalation of issues
Ensuring shift allocations comply with contract requirements, minimum training/credentialing requirements and client preferences
Working times: 10 am to 6pm Monday to Friday
On-call after hours and weekends to be shared equally with the team of 4 (Additional allowances and weekend rates payable as per SCHADS Award)
What you will bring to the team:
Previous experience with a service coordination, scheduling or rostering role
Good administration skills, with a high level of attention to detail
Confident IT skills, with the ability to learn new systems
Experience with SCHADS Award will be a particular advantage but not essential
Experience working in payroll and/or in a finance team will be a particular advantage
Highly developed and proven customer service skills including experience in following correct procedures when dealing with challenging situations and vulnerable people
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to adapt communication style to meet people’s needs
Demonstrated ability to work well within a team
Be available to respond to enquiries from staff and clients on-call and out of normal business hours
