Job Title:
The Australian Education Union seeks a skilled Administration Support Specialist to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support, including responding to phone calls, emails, and correspondence, as well as monitoring team calendars and assisting staff.
* Support member inquiries, building a knowledge bank of responses to common issues, and providing direct responses where appropriate.
* Maintain and update member databases, ensuring accurate information and efficient onboarding.
* Offer basic technical support to the team, such as Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint usage.
* Update and maintain organisational social media accounts and website as directed.
Requirements:
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* High level of computer literacy or ability to provide basic technical support.
* Strong social media skills, particularly in Facebook and Instagram.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively within a team.
* Current NT Driver's License or equivalent.
* Availability during business hours, specifically Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
* Experience working in a membership-based organisation.
* A commitment to unionism and NT Public Education.
