Find your future with us.We are currently seeking a Project Management Specialist to join our Supply Chain team on a full-time, permanent basis, based 100% onsite in Port Melbourne.This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone beginning their journey in Project Management to develop their career with support from a talented team of professionals.The position involves working within the BAA commercial supply chain management team, managing over 300 suppliers globally and coordinating various change projects.Position Responsibilities:Develop and implement supply base plans to support customer, program, and commodity strategies.Achieve project outcomes on time and within budget by defining, designing, and planning projects.Control and deliver project outcomes and optimize team contributions.Proactively manage risks, issues, and opportunities.Manage supplier and subcontractor relationships, ensuring contractual obligations and performance standards are met.Gain in-depth knowledge of suppliers’ organizations, processes, policies, and products.Provide insights for potential integration into contracting strategies.Basic Qualifications:Entry-level project management experience and a desire to develop further in this field.Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain environments.Understanding of procurement responsibilities and tasks.Ability to manage competing priorities within short timeframes.Proactive, initiative-taking, and team-oriented attitude.Strong interpersonal skills, including customer/supplier interaction and negotiation experience.Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia.Preferred Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in project management, business, commerce, supply chain management, or related fields are preferred but not essential.Additional Information:This is a non-EBA position (IJC HAD9I2). Remuneration will be based on skills and experience.
