This is an exciting opportunity for a mature, experienced and energetic Medical Secretary with exceptional organisational and office skills to join our busy Administrative Team in the Cancer Centre for Children at the Children's Hospital at Westmead. Ideally, we are looking for an applicant with a healthcare background who is comfortable working in a busy team environment and able to multi-task.
This is a temporary part-time position, 32 hours per week with an expected commencement date of February ****. Business hours are Monday to Friday, working alongside like-minded professionals within a busy multidisciplinary team environment.
What you'll be doing
The Medical Secretary provides a comprehensive range of high-level administrative and clerical services to support the achievement of the Cancer Centre for Children outcomes.
About you
Has experience working as a medical secretary in a busy healthcare environment
Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients, other health care professionals and external stakeholders
