Allied Health Assistant Role Overview
The Allied Health Assistant plays a vital role in supporting Speech Pathologists to deliver high-quality therapy services to NDIS participants.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing therapeutic support to clients and families by following person-centred programs provided and guided by therapists.
* Collaborating with therapists to create and produce materials and resources tailored to client needs and therapy goals.
* Maintaining quality documentation, objective record keeping and reporting functions.
* Assisting with general administrative or ad hoc tasks that support the smooth functioning of the Speech Pathology therapy team.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, including the ability to work autonomously.
* Positive and flexible approach to problem-solving and navigating change.
* Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold organisational values.
* Ability to build effective relationships with clients, families, and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance or working towards a relevant tertiary qualification (Speech Pathology).
* Current NDIS Worker Check.
* Current Working with Children Check (paid employment).
* NDIS Worker Orientation module completion certificate.
* Current drivers licence.
* Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
