About your role
Join a dynamic and evolving business unit at the forefront of innovation. As the Head of Finance for IXOM's Life Sciences division, you will be the key finance partner driving performance, managing financial risk, and shaping the future. As the Life Sciences business unit work towards being a stand alone business, you will collaborate closely with the IXOM Group Corporate team to identify the optimal finance structure to meet the evolving needs of the business, along with being key stakeholder supporting the potential delivery of new ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic growth initiatives, long-term planning, and M&A activities, while partnering with the EVP and Deputy CFO to align financial strategy with business goals
* Deliver commercial insights across pricing, cost-to-serve, and customer profitability, and drive data-led decision-making to improve performance
* Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to enhance cost efficiency, evaluate contracts, margin realisation, and support large-scale B2B opportunities
* Lead commercial aspects of the budget and forecasting processes and support short-term planning cycle
* Ensure compliance with group-wide KPIs (RONA, ROCE, investment hurdles), and lead scenario modelling, investment case development, and capital governance
* Drive cost control, continuous improvement, and robust financial processes, while managing working capital and supporting strategic business reviews
* Build and mentor a high-performing finance team fostering a collaborative culture with a focus on excellence and continuous improvement .
* Drive a culture of ownership and accountability by always acting as a role model and delivering on promises
* Engage with and maintain strong working relationships with the Life Sciences and Corporate Finance leadership teams
Who we looking for?
* A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business, along with CPA or CA qualifications
* 10+ years in senior role in commercial and/or supply chain finance
* Exceptional commercial acumen and a track record of enabling business growth
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and build high-performing teams
* Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities, with experience in investment evaluation and capital governance
* A collaborative approach and ability to build trusted relationships across business functions
* Experience with ERP systems and a high level of strategic agility
