Our client is a well-established, highly reputable Aged Care Provider which strives to deliver exceptional care and support to its residents.
They currently have multiple opportunities available for motivated and experienced Care Workers to join their facility-based team in the Goulburn Region.
**Requirements**:
- Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
- Minimum of 12 months relevant care experience
- Demonstrated commitment to meeting the needs of the elderly
- Positive communication (both written and verbal)
- Understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Willingness to obtain a criminal history check
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Providing and assisting residents with the activities of daily living, including personal care (e.g. assisting with showers or baths, toileting, oral care, shaving, dressing, assisting with meals and drinks etc)
- Providing support, comfort and companionship to residents
- Regular check-ins and consulting with the Registered Nurse or Care Manager on duty regarding changes in planned care or status of residents
- Where required, assisting in completing relevant resident documentation
- Maintaining an accurate record of the status and well being of residents
