Job Opportunity:
As a Care Support Associate, you'll provide care to residents in accordance with the Household Model of Care, promoting their independence and enhancing their quality of life through activities such as daily living assistance, providing personalized care, supporting community-based recreational and social activities, and advocating for residents.
* Key Responsibilities:
o Providing daily living assistance – including showering, personal hygiene, mealtime support, general mobility, and laundry
o Offering personalized care – in accordance with individualized Care Plans
o Supporting residents – with community-based recreational and social activities
o Actively advocating – for residents while providing them with choice, fostering skills, and encouraging engagement
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Disability Support
* Experience with technology – including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
* NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
