Jaybro is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain healthy supplier relationships.
Attend to and resolve accounts payable queries via telephone and mailbox.
Process invoices into the accounts payable system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Resolve invoice discrepancies to facilitate prompt payments.
Perform regular statement of accounts reconciliations.
Manage the Accounts Payable Mailbox.
Ensure supplier ledgers are accurate and up-to-date.
Set up payment runs and allocate payments.
Provide documentation for audits, reports, and end-of-month processes.
Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager.
Support company secretary duties.
Assist the executive team with legal issues as they arise.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role; manufacturing experience is a plus.
SAP experience is highly regarded.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
High accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors.
