Health and Safety Advisor Role
The Roy Hill Mine is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team on an 8/6 FIFO roster.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage and coach front line leaders and workforce in physical and psychosocial risk reduction and develop their capacity to work safely
* Provide thought leadership and evidence-based advice to operations Superintendents, Supervisors and workforce
* Champion safety at, and attend H&S meetings, pre-start meetings and other meetings that may have relevant health and safety subject matter
The successful candidate will have:
* Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or Risk Management, or relevant qualifications in disciplines such as Health, Social Science, Engineering, Law, or Human Resources
* Significant experience in a similar Health & Safety Advisory role within a mining or heavy industry
