Lead Electrical Reliability – Fixed Plant (Adelaide | 4:3 Roster)
Most sites talk about reliability.
This role is about actually building it.
We're looking for a Lead Electrical Reliability Engineer / Specialist to step into a function that needs structure, direction, and capability uplift - not just another set of hands.
You'll take ownership of reliability across fixed plant (surface + underground), leading a small team and shifting the operation from reactive firefighting to data‐led performance.
What you'll be doing
* Leading a team of 4 within electrical reliability
* Embedding RCM and FMECA into real operational practice
* Using data to drive improvements in MTBF / MTTR
* Resetting maintenance strategy based on asset performance
* Coaching a team that hasn't fully been exposed to structured reliability
* Working closely with maintenance and operations to lift overall asset performance
What actually matters
We're not hiring based on years.
We're hiring based on whether you can:
* Look at an asset and understand why it's failing
* Turn that into a practical, workable strategy
* Bring a team along with you
* A reliability engineer ready to step up
* A senior specialist who's been doing this for years
* Or someone from outside mining with strong fixed plant reliability experience
Engineering degree is helpful - not essential.
The role
* Adelaide-based | 4:3 roster
* Flexibility on WFH for the right person
* Fixed plant across surface and underground
The reality
This is not a polished, high-functioning reliability environment.
It's an opportunity to build one.
