Opportunity
The Projects, Energy & Infrastructure (PEI) team is expanding in Brisbane. We are seeking an ambitious Senior Associate with a background in front‐end projects, infrastructure and/or construction to support a growing practice that spans the full life cycle of major energy and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Work closely with a senior team of Partners to advise on procurement, acquisition, and divestment of major assets, project development and construction, and complex government transactions across sectors, including transport, energy, water, health, education, telecommunications, forestry, and real estate. You will be involved in significant deals such as Olympic infrastructure projects, critical electricity transmission, major infrastructure projects under varied delivery models, and high‐value procurements.
Qualifications
* 5 – 10 years' experience as a lawyer in a projects, infrastructure, and/or construction team in a private practice or in‐house environment.
* Strong academic results and a commitment to continuous learning.
* Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
* A proactive, client‐focused approach and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* An innovative mindset with curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.
