Your role might include:
Performing calming background music during the day
Hosting a mini performance or sing-along session
Creating a warm and soothing atmosphere through music
Sharing conversation and building rapport with residents who love music
Brightening someone's day with the power of a familiar tune
We welcome musicians who can:
Play piano, guitar, or other acoustic instruments
Singe solo or lead gentle group sing-alongs
Share a mix of classic tunes, old favourites, or peaceful melodies
Why volunteer with us?
Make a meaningful impact through music
Share your passion in a supportive, appreciative setting
Connect with residents and staff who value your time and talent
Whether you're a seasoned performer or simply love playing for others, wed love to hear from you.
All musician volunteers begin with a trial performance so the residents have the chance to hear your music and make a decision if that is what they are looking for.
