The Opportunity
Join CSL Behring as the Drawing Office Lead and play a pivotal role in modernising and managing our engineering drawing systems. You'll lead a team of in‐house and offshore drafting professionals, supporting a high volume of concurrent and intersecting capital and maintenance projects. Your Role
Reporting to the Head of Operational Services, Maintenance & Utilities Engineering, you will be on‐site and located in Broadmeadows.
- Lead the Drawing Office team, managing both local and offshore drafting resources to deliver high‐quality engineering documentation.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs, work instructions, and document control systems.
- Plan and prioritise workloads across multiple, overlapping projects, ensuring efficient delegation and delivery.
- Maintain and update baseline, GxP, and project drawings in compliance with GMP and HSE standards.
- Foster strong working relationships across engineering, capital projects, and external contractors to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the Drawing Office, identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and documentation practices.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience in mechanical design drafting, ideally with exposure to piping, electrical, and civil disciplines.
- Experience leading or managing a drawing office or drafting team.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with document control systems and CAD data management.
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, industrial) preferred but not essential.
- Experience with drawing standards, plant configuration management, and engineering documentation practices.
