Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Tradesperson Maintenance Supervisor. We are seeking a skilled and experienced tradesperson to oversee the maintenance of our operational fleet, ensuring that it is properly maintained to support the delivery of waste removal and cleansing services across the community.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in day-to-day operations across a number of service units. Key responsibilities include trade qualifications and experience in service and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment, passenger vehicles and small plant and equipment.
Other key responsibilities include the ability to organise workloads to achieve objectives, experience in the operation of specialised machinery such as milling machine and lathe, and competency in welding with both mig and arc welders.
The candidate should also be able to perform complex diagnostic procedures on all vehicle systems and determine appropriate maintenance and repairs, have understanding of vehicle safety standards and compliance with government departments, and possess current drivers and HR truck licenses.
* Trade qualifications and experience in service and maintenance of heavy plant and equipment, passenger vehicles and small plant and equipment.
* Ability to organise workloads to achieve objectives.
* Experience in the operation of specialised machinery such as milling machine and lathe.
* Competency in welding with both mig and arc welders.
* Current drivers and HR truck licenses (required), Front End Loader, Forklift Licence (Desirable).
* Ability to perform complex diagnostic procedures on all vehicle systems and determine appropriate maintenance and repairs.
