As the steward of the early childhood development system, the Office will act on government's behalf, and work in collaboration with the sector, to organise and connect the system to reduce developmental vulnerability.
This includes providing universal access to quality, teacher-led preschool from the age of 3, growing and sustaining a quality early childhood workforce, and greater supports and connected services for families in the 1000 days of a child's life.
About This Role
The ICT Systems Trainer is responsible for supporting the Digital Programs team to deliver the new digital solution known as EC Connect for the Office for Early Childhood Development (OECD). Working with the Stakeholder and Communications Lead, this role will develop practical training frameworks and user-friendly documentation to support EC Connect's implementation across multiple teams and user groups.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver training plans to ensure stakeholders are fully prepared and equipped for the phased implementation of EC Connect.
* Develop tailored training approaches by validating training needs and end user requirements to support adoption of EC Connect and the new ways of working.
* Design and facilitate training sessions to build capacity and enhanced knowledge of the new IT software, enabling stakeholders to transition seamlessly to business-as-usual operations.
* Oversee training deliverables ensuring they are tracked and managed appropriately.
About You
You will bring extensive (4+ years desirable) agile IT project experience including planning, preparing and delivering an ICT training approach across a range of stakeholders, supported by effective communication skills and the ability to build and sustain strong working relationships within a complex project environment.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who brings:
* Experience developing and delivering ICT training programs to a high number of end users, including training materials and support guides.
* Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
* High level interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and sustain effective networks with key stakeholders.
* Experience applying analytical skills to identify, evaluate and address training needs.

Remuneration
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116, FTE) per annum, plus superannuation.
Additional Note
This is a full-time 1-year long term contract role (1.0 FTE) with potential to extend.
