Job Title: Allied Health Professional
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team. We are looking for a skilled individual who can work with clients to identify their goals and aspirations, build skills and job-readiness, and support them through interviews and into employment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disability and barriers to employment.
* Offer counselling intervention services as needed via face to face and telehealth, utilising various psychological methodologies.
* Refer candidates to additional external support services to help address barriers.
* Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases.
* Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates; and
* Provide training and guidance to staff on psychological services and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA
* Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Counselling, or eligibility to gain, membership with ACA / PACFA
* Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential;
* Knowledge of psychology assessment / intervention strategies;
* Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement;
* Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
* Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
