Mater Research are looking for a Research Nurse - Oncology to join the team! This permanent, full-time role will be based at our South Brisbane campus. Mater Research is a recognised leader in medical research. Salary range: $51.87 - $58.24 per hour plus 12% superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 access to many staff benefits! What you’ll be doing The Research Nurse at Mater Research is a key member of the team, providing independent trial management. This individual is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, serving as the primary coordinator for all trial and research activities. The Research Nurse plays a crucial role in project planning, ensuring adherence to study protocols, data collection procedures, and regulatory requirements. Additionally, they will oversee participant recruitment, serve as an administrative liaison for projects, and maintain accurate record-keeping in compliance with regulations. Educates, advises, and mentors the team while collaborating with key stakeholders to facilitate trial success. This role is essential for the successful execution of clinical trials at Mater Research. About you AHPRA nursing registration with no restrictions and a minimum of three years of nursing experience or relevant research field experience Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate effectively, and communicate with diverse stakeholders Proficient in computer literacy and Microsoft Office applications Current ICH GCP certification with a clear understanding and commitment to clinical trial principles Understanding of Australian clinical trial regulations and guidelines such as ICH GCP, TGA, and NHMRC Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Excellent oral and written communication skills with Microsoft Office proficiency Ability to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders Familiarity with standard project protocols Experience in negotiating and communicating effectively with various stakeholders Proficient in computer literacy Minimum of one year of full-time clinical trial experience Familiarity with clinical research regulatory framework Experience interpreting guidelines and policies related to clinical trials Background in Medical Oncology nursing ADAC qualification Why join us?
