Your Opportunity:
* To provide and deliver a high level of nutrition support and therapy to renal patients within Bundaberg Hospital, through sound evidence based advice and high level clinical judgement and reasoning skills.
* To contribute to the advancements of renal dietetics and multidisciplinary team services through the provision of clinical leadership along with education and research within the renal unit.
What we're looking for:
* Demonstrated high level of knowledge, expertise and skill in renal dietetics, and ability to provide clinical services of a complex nature, where established principles, procedures and methods require some expansion, adaptation or modification.
* Demonstrated ability to participate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team and liaise effectively with supervisors and other senior clinicians regarding service delivery and improvement opportunities.
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, undertake and evaluate service quality improvement and/or research activities.
* Demonstrated ability to provide clinical education and operational supervision to students, less experienced staff and other staff.
* Demonstrated ability to actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Mandatory possession of a Degree / Post Graduate qualification in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised Tertiary Institution. Eligibility for Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status is required.
* Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and if applicable registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $82,821 p.a., comprising salary between $67,457 - $72,588 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP4) (Temporary Part Time, 40 hours p.f. from 16th June 2025 for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension).
