**About the Opportunity**
This is a mid-senior position reporting to the National Operations Support Manager. You will be contributing to the business goals and delivering an efficient and effective NOS team function which meets the requirements of the business. You will play a key leadership role in the NOS team providing leadership, management, and support to the team
This is a great opportunity to expand your skills and experience to drive innovation and operational excellence. Based in Deakin, ACT, this position is key to the success of Serco Immigration Services and requires effective and close working relationships with the National Operations Team, Centre Managers, General Managers, and the Operations Director for Immigration. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the NOS team leaders to deliver outcomes in line with contract and compliance targets for the Immigration business
- Actively lead and manage a team with multiple work streams and conflicting targets.
- Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, eliminate errors and exceed contractual deliverables.
- Planning of team deliverables and activities.
- Ensure weekly team meetings with the NOS team are held and are efficient in updating the team in requirements.
- Management of HR processes related to Recruitment, Annual/Personal Leave and Retention.
- Foster a culture of high performance and employee Engagement consistent with Serco values.
- Limited interstate travel
**About You**
You are a motivated and experienced leader, with a track record of delivering high standards and results. You demonstrate exceptional integrity in everything you do and possess strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills. Your ability to build high levels of community and stakeholder engagement across a complex business is a priority which you use to ensure your team's deliverables align to the business strategy. You have senior management experience with proven success in leading a large and successful team within a relevant operational services organisation. Your will be able to show extensive examples on how to keep your team engaged, motivated and continuously improving on business process and delivering on key performance indicators.

- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour
- Tertiary qualifications in operations management, business administration or relevant field.
- Advanced computer literacy - Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and continuously changing and robust environment.
