Our multi national client is looking for a Customer Service Officer to work within the Administration/Customer service team in the automotive aftermarket industry.
This frontline position aims to ensure the prompt and efficient response to customers' requests and orders with the objective of exceeding the customers' expectations at all times.
This is an ongoing full time casual role, Monday to Friday 38 hours per week, with the possibility of it becoming permanent for the right person.
This is a full time on site position, no work from home option.
Hourly rate from $32 up to $36 per hour (plus super) based on experience
Job Description
Carry out customer service functions of order taking and processing and assisting customers, both internal and external with queries in a prompt and courteous manner;
Receive phone calls and handle clients/customers questions, queries and/or problems;
Data entry of information / sales orders;
Generate purchase orders;
Invoice sale orders;
Follow up on customer payments.
The Successful Applicant will have:
Previous experience with sales software programs
Proven customer service abilities (not just call centre experience)
Computer literacy (MS Office programs)
Accurate data entry skills
An eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Planning and organisation skills
Ability to work unsupervised and independently
Enthusiastic and "can do" attitude
Proven ability to handle pressure
