Job Description
At **CEA**, we're expanding our **Service Team** to meet growing customer demand. We're looking for an experienced and motivated **Diesel Mechanic** to join our **Darra** branch. **About the Role**
As a **Service Technician**, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, efficient, and compliant diagnostic, maintenance, and repair services on a range of mobile equipment. Working both independently and as part of a team, you'll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues in the field and workshop
- Performing scheduled maintenance and component replacements
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical support
- Ensuring all work is completed to safety and quality standards
**What You'll Bring**
- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic (Australia or NZ certified)
- Proven experience servicing and repairing heavy mobile equipment (mining or heavy industry preferred)
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work autonomously and follow detailed instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to safety
- Current driver's licence
- **OEM experience** highly regarded but not essential
