SAP Basis Consultant Role
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Basis Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the implementation and upgrade of SAP systems, ensuring seamless business operations.
As an expert-level technical professional, you will provide top-notch support and troubleshoot complex issues within the SAP Basis environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring SAP systems for peak performance, implementing performance tuning, and conducting regular system health checks.
You will also be responsible for implementing and managing SAP security settings and user administration, ensuring compliance with industry standards and legal regulations. Additionally, you will develop and maintain comprehensive data backup and recovery procedures, testing them regularly to ensure they meet required service levels.
Your leadership skills will be utilized in leading smaller SAP Basis projects, providing guidance and mentoring to junior team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation of all SAP systems, processes, and configurations, as well as conducting effective knowledge transfer to end-users and other IT teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA, and possess an in-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Clearance: Must have baseline clearance, with ability to achieve NV1 clearance.
* Experience: Proven experience as a SAP Basis Consultant, preferably in a leadership role.
The selected candidate will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate these into technical requirements, while regularly updating stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
