The William Inglis Hotel is seeking a talented Assistant Banquets Operations Manager to help lead the coordination and delivery of extraordinary events in a luxury setting and provide support to a high-performance team.
In this vital role, you’ll assist in overseeing the operations of conferences, meetings, weddings, gala dinners, and other special events. You’ll work closely with the Conference and Events Operations Manager to ensure the smooth execution of all event details, guaranteeing that every experience meets our high standards of excellence.
What you will bring to the role
* Experience in managing high-end banquet operations within luxury hotel venues.
* Ability to inspire, train, and lead a banquet team to deliver flawless service with professionalism and precision.
* Strong understanding of banquet setup, fine dining service standards, and the ability to manage seamless event flow.
* A passion for delivering personalised, world-class service to VIP clients, ensuring every event is a bespoke experience.
* Ability to liaise effortlessly between departments, including culinary, sales, and event planning teams, to ensure a cohesive event experience.
* Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster.
