About the opportunity:
This is more than a job — it's a calling. You'll be facilitating meaningful group programs and activities that build resilience, nurture confidence, and encourage social connection. From setting up safe and inclusive spaces to guiding conversations that shift lives, your work will directly impact people at risk of isolation, mental health challenges, and family stress.
Your days will be filled with purpose — delivering evidence-based programs that strengthen identity, support emotional wellbeing, and empower people to reconnect with themselves and their community.
You'll be working alongside a supportive team, building strong links with local services, and becoming a trusted guide to those who need it most.
* Facilitate engaging group sessions for women, parents, and young people across community venues
* Deliver coaching and practical tools that support mental wellbeing, healthy relationships and build resilience and communication skills
* Support participants with information, advocacy and warm referrals to local services
* Contribute to the team's vision of a connected and thriving community
* Capture stories of change through meaningful record-keeping and program evaluation
About You:
* Tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Community Services or a related field
* 2 + years' experience supporting vulnerable communities
* A natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life
* Experience running or coordinating groups for women, youth or families
* A strong sense of integrity and commitment to ethical practice
* A current NSW Driver's licence and current NSW WWCC
