Site Supervisor | Commercial Construction | Ballarat, VIC | $90,000–$130,000 package (flexible for strong candidates)
About the Opportunity
A well-established commercial builder in Ballarat is seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join their growing team. You'll oversee day-to-day operations on a range of commercial projects, ensuring delivery to program, safety, and quality standards. Projects span $200k to $7M, including commercial new builds, refurbishments, and specialised facilities. This role offers stability, long-term growth and the opportunity to be part of a supportive construction team in the Ballarat region.

* Strong residential Site Supervisors / Leading Hands wanting to step into commercial construction
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate daily site operations and ensure the project program is met
* Supervise subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and site sequencing
* Lead toolbox meetings, run site inductions, and manage WHS compliance
* Conduct regular safety and quality inspections
* Interpret drawings, plans and specificationsMaintain accurate site diaries, reporting and progress documentation
* Work collaboratively with the Project Manager and internal team
* Manage defects and ensure workmanship meets required standards
About You
* Carpentry qualification strongly preferred
* Commercial experience ideal, but open to strong candidates from residential backgrounds
* 3–5 years' experience in construction
* Strong communication and subcontractor management skills
* Proactive, organised, and able to maintain a safe and productive site
* Solid understanding of WHS practices and ability to lead site safety
* First Aid Certificate
* Construction White Card
* Certificate III in WHS (preferred but not essential)
