We are seeking Accounts Receivable Customer Service Officers to provide solution focused outcomes as part of our customer contact centre. This is a part time, permanent opportunity located at Blackburn.

About the role

Reporting to the Team Leader AR Customer Service, responsibilities include but not limited to:

* Resolve consumer (patient) billings for Ambulance Victoria Service (AV) fees, including via phone, web-portal, and email correspondence
* Provide a high standard of customer service engagement identifying customers' needs
* Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, supported by monitoring of performance dashboards and workload
* Maintain compliance, accuracy and confidentiality of records associated with customer account details
* Develop and foster constructive and effective working relationships within the team and across the wider AV

About you

To be considered for this position you will possess:

* Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable)
* Proven customer service skills with an ability meet performance call handling targets
* High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control
* Strong verbal communication skills to engage professionally with internal and external customers
* Intermediate Microsoft office suite competence level including Word and Excel
