Job Title: Asset Validation Officer
The role of Asset Validation Officer involves collecting and managing asset data across various facilities within a hospital. This includes capturing information about location, condition, manufacturer, model, serial number, type, criticality, and function in a template as per NSW Health guidelines.
Asset Management is responsible for translating organisational objectives into asset-related decisions, plans, and activities based on a balance of cost, risk, and performance. The goal is to deliver defined service outcomes through a whole-of-lifecycle approach.
Key aspects of this role include:
1. Collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and consistent asset data capture
2. Developing and implementing asset management strategies that meet the needs of the organisation
3. Maintaining accurate records of assets and their conditions
