Job Description The opportunity: NGH is seeking a passionate Principal level Ecologist to join the Queensland team.
This role is a leadership position within the biodiversity team, where you will manage projects, provide advice to clients and internal staff, drive standards, and mentor staff.
You will work on a diverse range of projects, including large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure developments as well as smaller niche projects, providing varied work and opportunities to build your professional experience and technical skills.
There are opportunities to influence the NGH biodiversity team and contribute new ideas and approaches.

Desired Skills and Experience Here's what we're looking for: This is an excellent opportunity for experienced biodiversity specialists seeking to expand their experience, work on exciting projects across diverse landscapes, and be supported by industry leaders.
Ideally, you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in flora and/or fauna identification. Knowledge of state and Commonwealth environmental legislation and policies. Experience with GIS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
